Curriculum Vitae

2020 – 2022

COVID

The Pandemic; ‘Moving on’ meant moving myself and my materials out of the studio and onto thehome kitchen table.
Working in isolation was surprisingly enjoyable; peace, and the warmth of home. The rest is a history we all share.

2017 – 2020

TRANSITION

The final launch of the Crafts Council supported Nerikomi Project in 2013 was a huge relief, closing the unexpectedly lengthy period of Research & Development. A recurring spinal problem had slowed the project beyond original planning, causing many delays. The final success of the project led to increased demands on time and energy; it was necessary to re-consider the way forward for both personal and practice development, so the decision was to focus temporarily on home studio production. Seeing clients privately by appointment meant less pressure, enabling a more grounded way of working, freeing time to finalise and close the design, production, and sale of printed bone china items; these having been sucessfully produced over several years in support of a vitally important Charity Project. Time to move on.
